Over five days, students from across the UK and Malaysia will come together at the Universiti Malaya to discuss issues and identify solutions based around United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Equality in Higher Education.

Through a mixture of guest lectures, hands on workshops and cultural activities, students will develop their knowledge of sustainable development and build friendships and international networks in the stunning capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

This is a platform for female developers, coders, and other technical talent to showcase their skills and contribute to inclusive economic growth. This Hackathon is an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their abilities and potentially secure employment or internship opportunities with Microsoft-Partner Companies, and foster innovation and diversity in the tech industry.

Hackathons are a fun way to involve people in your organization around a changing digital culture. The main goal is to develop sample apps and generate ideas to drive digital transformation. Teams come together, on business lines or on a global scale, from different roles and departments to compete and create applications that address organizational needs.

The Touch 'n Go eWallet Young Entrepreneurship Challenge 2022, is a platform for students to experience, innovate and foster their entrepreneurial skills within the eWallet industry.

This competition seeks the best young minds from the young Malaysians who have a fresh and innovative idea for eWallet industry and to increase, improve and enhance the joys of using eWallet to achieve continuous usage.

The participants also have to show how they can make Touch ‘n Go eWallet as the go-to-cashless payment of choice among Malaysians.

Setinggi-tinggi tahniah diucapkan kepada 4 orang pelajar Tahun Kedua FSDK program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Teknologi Maklumat yanng telah menyertai Konvensyen Teknikal Nuklear Malaysia (NITC) 2023 yang telah diadakan di Dewan Tun Dr Ismail, Agensi Nuklear Malaysia, Bangi, Selangor.

Pelajar-pelajar tersebut adalah Muhamad Danish, Muhammad Iqmal, Nur Fatihah Amani dan Muhamad Fikri. Projek yang dibentangkan bertajuk Ecowatch: Intelligent Water Pollution Detection and Monitoring System. Projek yang dilaksanakan oleh para pelajar ini telah diselia oleh Dr. Fakhitah Ridzuan dan Ts. Dr. Hadhrami Ab. Ghani. Projek ini telah meraih anugerah Bronze Award yang membanggakan dalam pertandingan tersebut.

Tahniah diucapkan kepada Wong Chin Wee, pelajar Tahun 3, Ijazah Teknologi Maklumat (Kepujian) yang telah mendapat 1st Runner-Up AI Enthusiast melalui Program 2023 Intel Building Digital Readiness.

Tajuk projek yang dibentangkan bertajuk "Early detection of skin cancer using deep learning approach."

The National Innovation and Invention Competition (NIICe) is a national level research innovation competition. The first NIICe has successfully attracted a total of 247 entries from schools and institutions of higher learning nationwide. Innovation & Technology Challenge 2021 (InTech-21) merupakan program pertandingan cabaran keusahawanan peringkat kebangsaan yang dianjurkan oleh Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi dengan kerjasama Universiti Malaya.

InTech-21 memberi peluang kepada para peserta untuk menawarkan penyelesaian e-dagang kepada permasalahan kehidupan manusia sekaligus berupaya mencapai matlamat Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Selain itu, InTech-21 juga bermatlamat melonjakkan keusahawanan e-dagang pengetahuan seiring keperluan kehidupan pasca Covid-19 yang mementingkan aspek pendigitalan serta penggunaan aplikasi mobile.
